For our first Sculpture lecture, this Thursday, each student has been asked to bring in an image of a sculptural or installation piece of work which interests them...
I have chosen to present the installation piece 'The Maybe' which was an artistic collaboration between artist Cornelia Parker and actress Tilda Swinton. The piece consisted of Tilda Swinton lying in a glass box, motionless for 7 hours a day. I really like this piece of work because it presents human life, it is a real live artwork and it has a beautifully voyeuristic feel to it....
